　 CPU板包括微处理器和RAM内存、实时时钟、LED指示器、输入按钮和一个压缩闪存接口。PM867控制器的基板有两个用于连接到控制网络的RJ45以太网端口(CN1,CN2)和两个RJ45串口(COM3,COM4)。串行端口之一(CM3)是一个带调制解调器控制信号的RS-232-2端口,而另一个端口(CM4)是孤立的,用于连接配置工具。控制器支持CPU冗余以提高可用性(CPU、CexBUS、通信接口和S800I/O)。高完整性功能是由增加了一个SA探访模块和Sil-SEL认证软件。交流800m高完整性还提供了独立的电子信息系统61508和TVV认证控制环境,在不损害安全完整性的情况下,将安全性和业务关键过程控制结合在一个控制器单元中。
